Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC, born March 4 1954, is a Canadian-American actress. O'Hara has won a number of awards, including the Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. In addition, she was awarded two Primetime Emmy Awards and six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, she was appointed an Officer of Canada. She was also presented with the Governor General’s Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Medal in 2020. O'Hara first became known as an actress while she was a part of The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. Dan Aykroyd and John Candy were also part of her main cast in the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara was a part of Candy on the sketch comedy show Second City Television (1976-1984). She won critical acclaim both for her acting and writing skills, and was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award, 1981 for Outstanding Writing in a Variety Series. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the new Second City artistic advisory board headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura, Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
