Lara Logan
Lara Logan was born 29 March 1971. She is a South African journalist, radio and television journalist. She was an CBS News journalist from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes executive Producer Jeff Fager called her factually inaccurate and politcally biased piece about the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack "the biggest mistake I've made on my 10-year-old television." In 2019, she was hired by Sinclair Broadcast Group, which is a conservative-leaning media firm. In January 2020 she joined Fox Nation. Fox News is a streaming service that requires a subscription. She claimed that she was "dumped by the company" in March 2022. Logan was a reporter for the Sunday Tribune of Durban during her studies (1988-1989), followed by the Daily News of the city (1990-1992). In 1992 she joined Reuters Television Africa as a senior production producer. After four years with Reuters Television in Africa, she moved into freelance journalism. She was employed as a reporter/editor/producer by Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY (in London), CBS News, ABC News, NBC News and the European Broadcasting Union. CNN covered the events in Northern Ireland and Kosovo wars.
