Lily Rabe

American actress Lily Rabe. Her multiple roles in FX's horror series American Horror Story (2011-2021) is what makes her famous. In her role as Portia in the Broadway production of The Merchant of Venice she was nominated to the Tony Award for Best Actress. Film credits include What Just Happened (2008), All Good Things (2010) and Pawn Sacrifice (2014), Miss Stevens (2016), Golden Exits (2017), Vice (2018), Fractured (2019) and The Tender Bar (2021). Rabe was also a part of the television The Whispers series The Whispers (2015). The Undoing (2020), The Underground Railroad (2211) and The First Lady (2222). The first time she appeared on screen was 2001 alongside Jill Clayburgh, her mother. Her stage debut, again opposite her mother, at the Gloucester Stage Company in Massachusetts. She was part of two one-act plays, Speaking Well of the Dead by Israel Horovitz as well as The Crazy Girl by Frank Pugliese. The roles allowed her to award her an Equity Card. [9] In July 2003 she appeared in Proof by David Auburn at the Gloucester Stage Company. She also appeared in the film Mona Lisa Smile. The actress came back to New York after graduating. Deirdre was a part of White Jesus from September 29 until October 2 in 2004, one of the many one-act plays that were presented by The Democracy Project at The Naked Angels Theater Company.
